FAQs

  1. **Do I need to pay any money to register for the Hackathon?**
No. You do not have to pay anything to anyone to register yourself for any Hackathon on HackerEarth.

  2. **Do I need to have any specific qualifications to be a participant for the Hackathon?**
If you love to work on data, you are more than welcome to participate in the Hackathon.

  3. **How do I submit what I have made for the Hackathon?**
You have to upload your presentation along with other supporting documents on HackerEarth in tar/zip file format along with links to your online repositories(if any) with your source codes and instructions to run the same

  4. **Do we need to have the entire idea fully working?**
The entire idea need not be fully implemented however, the submission should be functional so that it can be reviewed by the judges.

  5. **How is the environment? Will your environment support any language? Will you provide any IDE and DB for us to work on ideas?**                You have to run the scripts on your local system and submit the final version on HackerEarth in tar/zip file format along with instructions to run scripts (if required)

  6. **Since there is no specific technology mentioned, are there any restrictions on using number of pre-built libraries?**
There is no restriction to use any language, technology stack, or libraries. You can use any of them to perform your analysis and come up with your solution

  7. **Do I need to present my findings and results? **
If you want you can submit a small video talking through your submission, however it's not mandatory, and only good to have. If you are shortlisted for an interview with us, you might be questioned on your submission during the interview, details of which will be shared with sufficient advance notice.

  8. **Can we register separately but still work as a team and come up with a common solution? **
No, this is an individual participation event only. If submissions are the same, both the entries may be disqualified.
